We focus on three groups the rest of the market underserves: senior workers who got laid off mid-career, fresh graduates trying to break in, and TN / H-1B workers who need fast, accurate signals about which roles are actually open to them.

Why we exist
The 2025–2026 tech market broke a lot of assumptions about who is safe and how long a search should take. We watched senior engineers spend six months sending applications into a black hole, and watched new grads get told to compete against people with ten years of experience for the same junior role. Existing job boards optimized for advertiser revenue. We built UpJobz to optimize for the candidate.
Our team is small, North-America-first, and bootstrapped. We make money the simplest way: subscriptions from job seekers who want better tools. No sponsored listings. No employer pay-to-play rankings.
