Our mission is to eliminate the tradeoff between the power of hyperscalers and the simplicity of developer-friendly platforms—so teams can ship fast, scale reliably, and focus on their product, Responsibilities: - Lead and grow a team of product engineers, supporting their development through mentorship, feedback, and clear technical guidance. - Drive execution on key product initiatives from ideation through launch, balancing speed with high standards of reliability and quality. - Partner closely with Product and Design teams to translate customer needs into thoughtful technical solutions and product roadmaps. - Engage deeply in technical discussions, guiding system design decisions and helping the team navigate architectural tradeoffs. - Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement across engineering practices and team processes. - Help the team break down complex problems into incremental milestones that deliver value quickly while supporting long-term platform evolution. Requirements: - 8+ years as an Engineer shipping products and/or features that have downstream impact on the business and product ecosystem - 2+ years of experience managing people and developing engineers, including hiring, mentorship, and performance management. - Strong technical background with the ability to engage deeply in system design, architecture, and engineering tradeoffs. - Product-oriented mindset with experience translating business goals and user needs into engineering roadmaps and shipped features. - Ability to balance urgency with thoughtful execution, helping teams ship quickly while maintaining high quality. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across engineering, product, and design.
