Responsibilities: - Shape the company strategy and set the industry standard on AI privacy. - Deliver novel encryption-based privacy features across ChatGPT, API, and our future consumer devices at rapid speed. - Work closely with an industry-leading team of researchers, engineers, and security experts to build core privacy technologies such as private inference and end-to-end encryption. - Work closely with our safety, integrity, and legal teams to develop novel privacy-preserving safety features and balance difficult trade-offs. - Work closely with a range of industry partners including cloud providers, GPU manufacturers, and security researchers. - Partner with leadership, marketing, and global affairs to communicate OpenAI’s privacy values with our customers, industry professionals, and policymakers.
